ABOUT THE AUTHOR Evan Quitelle Brockington is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Evan is the eldest of seven siblings raised by a single mother after losing his father at the age of three. His mother instilled in him the belief in God, good manners, and how to be a gentleman. In 1984 at the age of 17, he joined the United States Navy where he has served for the past 28 years.
